KS3 Science
Science is taught at SYTS using a range of different techniques aimed to cater for all pupils. Lessons are taught in specialist science laboratories. The aim of key stage 3 science is to foster an interest in the subject and to provide a good grounding in basic science in preparation for GCSE. Key stage 3 science is taught over year 7, 8 and the first 2 terms of year 9. At the end of the Easter term year 9 sit an exam on the whole of key stage 3.
