You are required to pay a holding fee before your child joins the school. This secures your child’s place. Currently this amount is £500 for all students. The £500 will be retained by the school. When the student comes off roll the holding fee will be refunded to the parent(s) / guardian(s) responsible for school fees and charges. The refund will be made when the school account for the student is settled in all respects, fees, charges and replacement equipment etc.
If any pupil is withdrawn without a full school term’s notice being given in writing to the Headteacher, a term’s fee in lieu of notice will be payable. Two terms’ notice must be given for any year 9 students.
Fees are reviewed annually; parents are informed of changes before the commencement of the summer term. Any increase will be implemented for the autumn term. However, the school reserves the right to increase fees when necessary.
The fees quoted above do not include the costs of entry for any public examination, insurance, theatre trips and other visits etc. Fees cover the regular curriculum and loan of books. Pupils will be charged for text books which have been lost, damaged or not returned by a given date at the end of the school year. An additional charge may be made for private individual or private small group lessons. Students taking GCSE examinations may be required to purchase additional books.
