General Aims and Objectives
Group performance of the work with an encouragement for individuals to present part of or the whole work in front of the class with constructive criticism aired at the end of each performance.to produce graduates who;
- to create a positive and creative environment where students can find and explore their voice
- to consider the aims of art in general, its power of communication and its realisation in vocal performance
- to provide a grounding in vocal technique through technical understanding and exercise
- to present a varied and challenging diet of music to stretch ability and broaden technical ability
- to accentuate the successful aspects of individual creativity in the hope of inspiring further development
- to equip students to present themselves in a mature and professional manner
- to promote a sense of co-ordination and co-operation in group performance in the pursuit of combined excellence
- to prepare students for audition process as an aid to future training and professional work
- to monitor and guide the individuals’ progress
